Automate Infrastructure Deployment with Azure Resource Manager
Automation is one of the most important advantages gained by businesses when they migrate applications to Microsoft Azure. With Azure automation, businesses can configure and deploy infrastructure and services automatically. Automation allows Azure users to improve the reliability of deployments, reduce deployment time, and eliminate manual operations from complex deployments.
In this webinar, VIAcode DevOps consultant Alexey Baltikov leads with an introduction to Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and ARM Templates. Then we work through two real-world case studies that examine configuring ARM for the automatic deployment of infrastructure.
In the first case study, VIAcode Principal DevOps Alex Andruschenko shows how we use ARM to deploy multi-VM IaaS testing infrastructure for VIAcode-developed SCOM management packs. In the second, Senior DevOps Engineer Sergey Kiselev discusses deployment and configuration automation for the monitoring infrastructure of a PaaS application, using Azure App Insights, Log Analytics, and Azure Monitor.
