FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
West Hartford, CT, June 28, 2013... VIAcode Consulting, a rapidly growing software development company that serves major software vendors and Fortune 1000 companies, has announced that a Company Practice Leader delivered a technical presentation with a demo focusing on Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) to a large audience of Russian software engineers attending the 2013 Microsoft DevCon meeting in Moscow on May 29 - 30.
The meeting was one of several highly technical developer conferences that Microsoft conducts globally for its alliance of software partners. Sharing real-world engineering experiences, trading peer-to-peer tips on innovative programming approaches and networking with senior Microsoft technologists have become the hallmark of these invitation-only technology events. VIAcode enjoys the coveted status of being a regularly-invited contributor to such software showcases. The Company has been an authorized member of the Microsoft Gold Partner Program for nearly 10 years.
Roman Yuferev, VIAcode Practice Leader, delivered a breakout session entitled: "DevOps: Implementation of Failures and Outages." The presentation focused on DevOps duties related to software services reliability and manageability. He walked through "DOs" and "DONTs" pertaining to diagnostic instrumentation practices and reviewed health model development processes in detail. Additionally, he described how to implement a monitoring system using SCOM. The session concluded with a live demo of the Company’s System Center accelerators. "We have developed a series of software components or 'accelerators' for System Center IT Management which improves its performance and reliability significantly," Roman explained. "These accelerators help our team to deliver enhanced data center capabilities faster and with more impact," he continued.
"VIAcode has been building software applications – from components such as these accelerators to complete applications -- since 2001, implementing our own version of Agile development that we call '4DS', Peter Buchanan, CEO, explains. "Our entire team of technologists is trained in 4DS, ensuring a deep and continuous collaborative approach between the business and technology requirements of each engagement throughout each of our 5 Step development process."
